intent), BQ (Quasi-Public Buildings) and A (Agricultural) zones; and

Commission reoarm~exried to the City Council that the Prezoning ba granted;
and

Ouinty A20S (Agricultural) zone: and
~FhS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zcatir~g Map of tha City of
Cupertino.
NOW, E, BE IT ORDAINED AS FDIdf~JS:
section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A° be and
hereby is prezoned to P (Planned Development with
Quasi-Public/Institutional. use intent), BQ (Quasi-Public Buildings) and A
(Agricultural) zones, subject to conditions listed in attached Exhibit
"C"; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is made part of the Master
Zonis Map of the City of Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinanoa shall take effect grid be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.

1. Approval is based .upon the Zoning plat mag, labeled Exhibit A of
Application 16-Z-85, aryl the report entitled, "Supplemental Sheet to
E1 c~atino xospital Plannitxl Proposal", which describes activity levels.
at the existing St. Joseph's Seminary site.
2. The St. Joseph's Seminary and college is permitted to consist of the
following aoas~onents:
A. 290,000 sq. ft. of building area.
B. 41 +- acres.
C. .16 Floor Area Patio.
D. Maximum of 225 students most of whom live on-sit9.
E. Uses including the following:
1. Diocese Chancellery
2. Year round retreats and cars.
3. college.
3. Approval is granted to continue the above listed uses at the intensity
as identified in the supplemental sheet arxi traffic report noted
shave.. Significant variations fran the shwa listed activities shall
require use permit approval by the Planning Commission and City
Council. Zhe Director of Planning and Development may approve minor
use changes which do not result in increased traffic levels,
significant variations fray the shwa list of allowable uses or added
building area.

Major use changes shall be reviewed in conjunction with use permit
approval through the Planning Oa~anission and City Council. Zhe
Plarmirg Co:mnission shall have the authority to interpret whether the
