ORDINANCE N0. 1327
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING
SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2 BY REZONING
APPROXIMATELY 2.1 GROSS ACRES FROM Al-43 ZONE TO R1-7.5
ZONE; LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BUBB ROAD
AND REGNART ROAD
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1985, an application was filed by The William
Day Company (Applicatir~n 15-Z-85) for the rezoning of pnoparty Prom Al-43
(Agricultural-Residential, 43,000 sq. Et. minimum lat size) zone to R1-7.5
(Residential Single-family 7,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the Rezoning be granted;
and
WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in an Al-43
(Agricultural-Residentialy, 43,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of
Cupertino.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Sectia~ 1. That the property described ir- attached Exhibit "A" be and
hereby is rezoned to an R1-7.5 (Residential Single-family 7,500 sq, ft.
minimum lot size) zone; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is made part
of the Master Zoning Map oP the City of Cupertino.
S 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.

All that .certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino,
County of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of that certain 2.165 acre
parcel of land shown upon that certain Record of Survey filed for
record in Book 159 of Maps at page 27, Santa Clara County Records;
thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the Westerly and
Northerly boundary of said 2.165 acre parcel the following
courses: N00°04'37"W 218.00 feet) N89°55'23'E 461.54 feet;
S89°39'37"E 20.94 feet to the Westerly line of that certain parcel
of land described as Parcel A in the deed from Helene Hughes
Madson to the City of Cupertino, recorded January 24, 1966 in Book
7257 of Official Records at page 724, Santa Clara County Records;
thence along said Westerly line of said Parcel A S00°05'00"E 55.86
