ORDINANCE N0. 1291
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 1
OF ORDINANCE N0. 2 BY REZONING TWO PARCELS WHICH
ARE EACH .21 ACRES (NET) FROM R3 TO R2 ZONE TO
ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF TWO RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX BUILDINGS
(TOTAL OF FOUR UNITS), LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF PARK CIRCLE DRIVE AND THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
PARK CIRCLE DRIVE APPROXIMATELY 400 FT. NORTH OF ALVES DRIVE
WHEREAS, on September 4, 1984, an application was filed by Jyan-Ping
Lily Chang (Application 8-Z-84) for the rezoning of property from R3
(Residential Multiple Family) zone to R3 (Residential Duplex) zone; and
WHEREAS., upon due notice and .after one public hearing. the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the. Re zoning be granted;
and
WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in an A2 (Residential
Multiple Family) zone; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of
Cupertino.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be and
hereby is rezoned to an R3 (Residential Duplex) zone; and that Exhibit "B"
attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map. of the City of
Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effeot and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the. City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 5th day of November, 1984 and ENACTED at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of .Cupertino this 19th day
of November , 1984 by the following vote:
