An Ordinance of the City of Cupertino Amending
Sections 2.74.010, 2.74.020 and 2.74.030 of the
Cupertino Municipal Code, Cable Television
Advisory Committee
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN that
Sections 2.74.010, 2.74.020 and 2.74.030 of the Cupertino Municipal Code
are hereby amended to read as follows:
2.74.010 Established. The Cable Television Advisory Committee of the
City is established and shall consist of five members who shall be
appolnted by the City Council from among the qualified electors of the
City.
2.74.020 Term of Office. The terms of office shall commence on the
effeotiv@ date of the amendment codified herein, two members to serve
term ending September 30, 1987, two members to serve terms ending
September 30, 1986 and one member to serve a term ending September 30,
1485. Thereafter, the term of office of the members of the Committee
shall be for four years and shall end on September 30th of the year
their term is due to expire.
2.74.030 Vacancy-Removal. Any member may be removed by a ma,~ority
vote oP the City Council. If a vacancy occurs other than by
expiration of a term vacancies shall be filled by appointment oP the
City Council and shall be for the unexpired portion of the term of
office vacated.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that qualified electors of the City of
Cupertino appointed by Council and currently serving terms on the Cable TV
Advisory Committee shall complete their unexpired terms.
INTRODUCED AND FIAST READING HELD at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Cupertino this 6th day of August, 1984 and ENACTED
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cupertino this
20th day of August, 1984 by the following vote:
