ORDINANCE N0. 1171
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 'I
OF ORDINANCE N0. 2 BY PREZONING APPROXIMATELY .5 GROSS
ACRES FROM SANTA CLARA COUNTY Rl-8 ZONE TO CITY OF CUP-
ERTINO RL-7.5 ZONE; LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF DOLORES
AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 200 FT. WEST OF ORANGE AVENUE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWSs
Wt1EREAS, on March 8, 1982, an application was filed by Dzidra
Silver (Application 1-Z-62) for the prezoning of property from Santa
Clara County R1-8 (Single-family Residential, 8,000 sq. ft. minimum
lot size) zone to City of Cupertino R1-7.5 (Single-family, Residential
7,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the Prezoning be granted;
and
WHEREAS, the property to be prezoned is presently in a Santa Clara
County ~.1-8 (Single-family Residential, 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size)
zone; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cuper-
tino.
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A"
be and hereby is prezoned to a City of Cupertino R1-7.5 (Single-family,
Residential, 7,500 sq: ft. minimum lot size) zone; and that Exhibit
"$" attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City
of Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take. effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council. of the City
of Cupertino this 3rd day of May , 1982 and ENACTED at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cupertino this 17th
day of ~y 1982 by the following vote:

April 11, 1917 in Book P of Maps, at page 20.
GXCEPTINC THEREFROM that portion conveyed to the County of Santa Clara,
a body politic, by Deed dated March 30, 1946, recorded October 23, 1946
in Book 1384 of Official Records. page 287, and being more particularly
described in said Deed as follows:
Being designated Dolores Avenue and being a strip of land 40 feet wide,
extending from Orange Walk to Byrne Avenue (Buena Vista Avenue) as
shown upon the Map of Subudivision "A" Monts Vista, recorded in Book
P of Maps, at page 20, Official Records of Santa Clara County, California.
