TO CITY OF CUPERTINO R1-6 ZONE - LOCATED ON THE NORTH

ZONE - LOCATEU ON THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST CORNCR OF
'STEELING AND RAINBOW DRIVE AND WESTERLY OF STEELING ROAD
TO THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY BEGINNING
APPROXIMATELY 100 FT. SOUTHERLY OF OAK MEADOW COURT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI(E CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1431, an application was filed by City of Cuper-
tino (Upland Way and Stelling/Rainbow) (Application 18-Z-81) for the prezoning
c,C property from Santa Clara County Al-10 (Agricultural Residential, 10,000
sq, ft. minimum lot size) zone, Al-lac (Agricultural Residential, 1 acre
minimum lo[ size) zone and RHS (Residential llillside Slope Density Formula)
zone to City of Cupertino R}IS (Residential Hillside Slope Density Formula)
'Lone; 1.7 acres from Santa Clara County A (Exclusive Agricultural) zone
to City of Cupertino R1-6 (Residential Single-family, 6,000 sq. ft. minimum
lot size) zone; and 6.7 acres from Santa Clara County A (Exclusive Agri-
cultural) zone to City of Cupertino Rl-6 (Residential Single-family, 6,000
sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
WtIEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the Prezoning be granted;
and
1v91EREAS, the property to be prezoned is presently in a Santa Clara
County Al-10 (Agricultural Residential, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lo[ size)
zone, a Santa Clara County Al-lac (Agricultural Residential, 1 acre minimum
lot size) zone, a Santa Clara County RHS (Residential llillside Slope Density
Formula) zone, and a Santa Clara County A (Exclusive Agricultural) zone; and

"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Ptap of the City of Cupertino.
NOtd, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:

Ser.tion 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be
and hereby is prezoned to a City of Cupertino RH5 (Residential Hillside
Slupc Density Formula)' zone and a City of Cupertino R1-6 (Residential Single-
family, 6,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and-that Exhibit "$'" attached
i"creto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino.
Section Z. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
