AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTIHO AMENDING
SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE N0. Z BY PREZONING APPROXI-
MATELY 6.5 ACRES PROM SAIiTA CLARA COUNTY R1-8 AND
Al-lac 20NE TO CITY OF CUPERTINO R1-7.5 Z02iE;
LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF McCLELLAN ROAD
APPROXIMATELY 170 FT. WESTERLY OF LINDA VI5TA
DRIVE AND ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE Ol:' MADRID
RUAD SOUTHERLY OF McCLELLAN ROAD
WHEREAS, on April 25, 1980, an application was filed by the City of
Cupertino (Application 20-Z-80, Linda Vista Drive) for the prezoning of
property from Santa Clara County R1-8 (one family residence, 8,000 sq.
ft. iainimum lot size and Al-lac (Residential and Agriculture, one acre
minimum lot size) zone to City of Cupertino R1-7.5 (Residential, airigle-
amily, 7,500 aq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the Prezoning be
granted; and
WHEI:EAS, the property to be prezoned is presently in a Santa Clara
County R1-8 and Al-lac zone; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as
Exhibit "B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Hap of the
City of Cupertino;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A"
be and hereby is prezoned to an R1-7.5 zone; and that Exhibit "B"
attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of
Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days after its passage.
