Ordinance 1018 ORDINANCE N0. 1018 AN ORDINANCE OP THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE N0. 2 BY PREZONING APPRORIMATELY 29'~ CROSS ACRES FROM SANTA CLARA COUNTY R1-10 ZONE TO CITY OF CUP- ERTINO R1-10 ZONE; GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF HOMESTEAD ROAD AND HIGHWAY 85 AND Et7COM- PASSES THOSE UNINCORPORATED PARCELS FRONTING ON BARRANCA DRIVE, HIBISCUS DRIVE, HIBISCUS COURT, WALLACE DRIVE, PENINSULAR AVENUE, CAROLINE DRIVE A27D MAINE AVENUE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on April 1, 1980, an application was filed by the City of Cupertino (Homestead Villa Subdivision/Bazranca Drive) (Application 14-Z-80) for the prezoning of property from Santa Clara County R1-10 (one family residence, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone to City of Cupertino R1-10 (Residential. Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the Prezoning be granted; and WHEREAS, the property to be prezoned is presently is a Santa Clara County R1-10 (one family residence, 10,000 aq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Ext:ibit "B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cuper- tino. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be and hereby is prezoned to a City of Cupertino R1-10 (Residential, Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be is force thirty (30) days after its passage.
