AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY bF CITPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 1
OF ORDINANCE N0. 2 SY PREZONLNG APPROJCIM~TELY 1.0 GROSS
ACRE FROM SANTA CLARA COUNTY Rl-8 ZONE TO CITY OF CUPER-
TINO P ZONE; LOCATED ON T$E NORTH SIDE OF ALMADEN AVE-
NUE APPROXIMATELY 100 FT. ~7ESTERLY OF ORANGE AVENUE
WHEREAS, on March 12, 1980, an application was filed by Richard H.
Childress (Application 11-Z-80) for the prezoning of property from Santa Clara
County R1-8 (Residential, Single-family, 8,000 sq. Ec. minimum lot sise) zone
to City of Cupertino P Planned Development with Single-family Residential intent)
zone; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning Com-
mission recommended to the City Council that the Prezoning be granted; and
WHEREAS, the property to be prezoaed is presently in a Santa Clar$ County
R1-8 (Residential, Single-family, 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and
W1iEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOW5:
Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be and
hereby 1s prezoned to a City of Cupertino P (Planned Development with Single-
family Residential intent) zone; subject to the conditions listed in attached
Exhibit "C"; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is made part of the Hastez
Zoning Hap of the City of Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days alter its passage.

the Cicy Council of the City of Cupertino this 2nd day of June . 1980

certain map entitled, "Map of Subdivision 'A'. Monts Vista," which said map vas
filed for record on the Eleventh day of April, 1917 in Map Sook "P" at page 20,
Santa Clara County Records.

CONDITIONS: '
1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the
special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does
exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
15. The approval is based upon the zoning plat map labeled Exhibit A of
application 11-Z-80 as may be amended by additional conditions contained
herein.
lb. Land use activities and site and building plans shall be consistent
with the City's General Plan and the Specific General Plan for Old Monts
Vista.
