AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 002
PROVIDING FOR STATUTORY ENACTMENT OF GENERAL LAW AND FOR ZONING OF
PROPERTY AS ANNEXED TO THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Amendment
Section 1:1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 002 of the City of
Cupertino is amended as follows:
All territory annexed to the City of Cupertino shall,
immediately upon its annexation becoming final, be auto-
matically given the same zoning classification as that
previously applied to said territory under the Santa Clara
Zoning Ordinance No. NS1200 pending rezoning under the pro-
visions of the ordinances of the City.
SECTION 2: Urgency Clause
Section 2:1: This Ordinance is hereby declared an urgency
ordinance to take effect immediately upon the date of its passage
for the reason that the rapid growth of the City by annexation
requires statutory enactment of general law in the public interest.
SECTION 3: Publishing Clause
Section 3: 1: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed
to cause certified copies of this ordinance to be published at least
once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Cupertino
Courier, the official newspaper of the City of Cupertino, published
and circulated within the City.
INTRODUCED AND ENACTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Cupertino, this 19th day of December, 1960, by the
following vote:
