SMWM and its Consultants have performed a limited review of Submittal # 101R1. Since neither the Architect
nor any Consultant retained by the Architect have responsibility for the design, installation, or performance of
Design -Build systems, we are entitled to rely upon the services provided by the Design -Build Consultants.
The Architect and its Consultant's review of the submitted Design -Build documents is limited to general
coordination and general compliance with the aesthetic aspects, design elements, and function of the project.
Nothing in this review by the Architect and its Consultants shall relieve the Design -Build Contractor of its
contractual obligations.

requirements designed and documented in this submittal. Per Plan Notes on Sheet W0.1, the
window contractor must review this submittal.
3. Contractor to coordinate the detailing of the exterior framing and windows at Line B between
Lines 5 and 7. The expected vertical displacement is about 1 " for dead + live load and the
expected relative lateral displacement between the low roof and 2nd floor and the 2nd floor and
the ground is 1.3". As noted on the previous submittal, SMWM would prefer that the movement
be accommodated at a location other than the window head.
4. For the exterior framing at Column 4.5/K, refer to SKA-108 and SKA-109, dated 1/14/2004 (see
attached).
