CC Resolution No. 98-226RESOLUTION NO. 98-226 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPOINTING ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY WHEREAS, Section 2.18.070 of the City's Municipal Code provides that the Assistant City Attorney shall serve as City Attorney pro tempore during any absence or disability of the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, Section 2.18.010(D) of the City's Municipal Code provides that the City Council may retain or employ an assistant city attorney as may be needed to assist the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint an assistant city attorney to serve as City Attorney pro tempore during any absence or disability of the City Attorney, and to assist the City Attorney with respect to all legal matters relating to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cupertino as follows: 1. Eileen Murray is hereby appointed Assistant City Attomey. The Assistant City Attorney shall assist the City Attorney with respect to all legal matters relating to the City. In the absence or disability of the City Attorney, the Assistant City Attorney will act as City Attorney pro tempore.
