Dear Philip,
After visiting your property I have the following observarions and recommendations with regazds to
the ash tree on Homestead.
Observations
Genus and species:Fra;rinus udhei,Common name:Green ash
Diameter at standard height 32.6",Height approx 40',Canopy spread 20'by 15'
The tree is located along the side of Homestead Rd.T'he tree is large and quite healthy but in very
poor condition. The tree has very poor, weak branch attachments. This is quite evident after a large
branch failure earlier this year. The remaining canopy is very one sided with long reaching branches.
Within 10 feet of the base of the tree are many utilities including a fire hydrant. It appears that many
of the roots have been pruned to accommodate a new side walk 2 feet from the base of the tree.
Recommendakions
The tree is in very poor condition and further limb or trunk failure may result in significant damage
or loss of life.T'he tree should be removed immediately
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.
5incerely
