Subject: Director's Minor Modification, DIR-2011-28, to allow minor building and site
modifications at an existing office complex at 18920 Forge Dr located in a
Planned Development zoning district.
Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative
approval of minor changes in a project. The Director reports his decision
to the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow an appeal
of the decision within fourteen calendar days.
DISCUSSION
The applicant is requesting the following building and site improvements:
• New exterior paint on concrete tilt-ups and reveals
� New cement siding on existing fascia
• New bicycle enclosure
• New refuse area
• New rooftop mechanical equipment (not visible from the public right-of-way)
• Replacement of existing awnings
• Removal of existing trellis
• Restriping and reduction in number of parking stalls related to accessibility
requirements
In accordance with the Ordinance, since the project is located in a Planned
Development zoning district, any changes to the exterior must be approved with a
Director's Minor Modification. No other improvements are currently proposed.
ACTION
The Director of Community Development deems the modification minor and approves
the building and site improvements subject to the attached plan set (Attachment 1).

day appeal period will expire on September 7, 2011.
