Dear Aki,
Rocktino Fee, LLC and Four Corners Properties look forward to enhancing the gateway to Cupertino by extending
the approved 10,582 square foot retail building and one level parking garage located at the corner of Stevens
Creek Boulevard and Tantau Avenue.
Rocktino Fee, LLC is submitting the attached application for a 5 year extension and is requesting the approval of a
Modification to the Use Permit (U-2007-03), Site and Architectural Review Permit (ASA-2007-05) and Tree Removal
Permit (TR-2007-03). Enclosed please find the application to extend and a check in the amount of $4,446. 1 have
also included the original approval letter from the Office of the City Clerk dated August 23, 2007, as well as, a copy
of the authorized one year extension letter dated June 17, 2009.
A tentative map was also approved at this site to separate the new commercial building site from office complex.
The tentative map currently expires on August 21, 2011 and will also need to be extended.
In addition to the modifications above we would like to work with the City to upgrade the intersection at the
corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Tantau Avenue to create a gateway to the City of Cupertino. We would like
to propose amending the original approval for enhancing the public walkways from $50,000 to $75,000 and would
like to request that the funds be used to enhance the public walkways, removal of the pork chop in the middle of
the intersection and any other relevant enhancements to the intersection.
