SUBJECT: RETROACTIVE TREE RET�OVAL PERMIT ACTION LETTER -
Application TR-2010-36
This letter confirms the decision of tr.e Director of Community Development,
given on September 24, 2010, approvin�; a retroactive tree removal permit for the
removal of one (1)10.1 inch diameter Vic:torian Box tree (Pittosporum Undulatum) at
20800 Homestead Road at The Markha� n Apartment complex with the following
conditions:
1. APPROVED PROTECT
The approval is based upon :he physical inspection by Community
Development Department staff ori August 4, 2010 that the tree was removed
prior to the applicant obtaining a tree removal permit.
2. TREE REPLACEMENTS
The applicant shall be required tc� plant one (1) 24-inch box size tree on the
property in accordance with the ��ity's Protected Trees Ordinance. The tree
type shall be reviewed and a��proved by the Director of Community
Development. The required replacement trees shall be planted within 60
days of the effective approval dat� of this tree removal permit.
3. NOTICE OF FEES, DEDICA'TIONS, RESERVATIONS OR OTHER
EXACTIONS
The Conditions of Project Appr��val set forth herein may include certain
fees, dedication requirements, reservation requirements, and other
exactions. Pursuant to Gover�unent Code Section 66020(d) (1), these

Conditions constitute written no :ice of a statement of the amount of such
fees, and a description of the ded ications, reservations, and other exactions.
You are hereby further notified - :hat the 90-day approval period in which
you may protest these fees, dedi�ations, reservations, and other exactions,
pursuant to Government Code Section 66020(a), has begun. If you fail to
file a protest within this 90-clay period complying with all of the
requirements of Section 66020, you will be legally barred from later
challenging such exactions.
Staff has made the findings necessary to grant the tree removal permit in
accordance with Section 14.18.180 of the Protected Trees Ordinance.
