A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF REAL PROPERTY FROM R. J. HUNTER
& ASSOCIATES, LOCATED AT GARDENSIDE LANE AND
KINGSBURY PLACE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino has approved the acquisition of
real property from R. J. Hunter & Associates, located at Gardenside Lane and Kingsbury Place,
and
WHEREAS, R. J. Hunter & Associates has executed a grant deed which is in good and
sufficient form granting to the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara, State of California, the
fee title to that certain real property to be utilized for public purposes, situate in the City of
Cupertino and more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof,
located at Gardenside Lane and Kingsbury Place, and
WHEREAS, Bert J. Viskovich, Director of Public Works, has been authorized to sign the
necessary documents to transfer title.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Cupertino hereby accept said
grant so tendered; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to record said
Grant Deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 20th day of January, 1998, by the following vote:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara, State
of California described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Kingsbury Place and the center line of
Gardenside Lane (formerly called Proposed State Highway Frontage Access Road) as
shown on that certain Map entitled, "Tract No. 3028", filed for record in Book 150 of
Maps at page 32, Santa Clara County Records; thence along the center line of said
Kingsbury Place N 89° 56' 05" W 30.00 feet; thence leaving said center line S 0° 03' 55"
W 10.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence parallel with and distant
10.00 from said center line of Kingsbury Place N 89° 56' 05" W 187.58 feet; thence along
a tangent curve to the left thru a central angle of 22° 37' 10" with a radius of 120.00 feet for
an arc length of 47.37 feet; thence along a reverse curve to the fight thru a central angle of
0° 49' 40" with a radius of 140.00 feet for an arc length of 2.02 feet; thence leaving said
parallel line S 89° 56' 05" E 235.61 feet; thence N 0° 03' 55" E 10.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING.
