CC Resolution No. 98-036RESOLUTION NO. 98-036 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO FOR AUTHORIZATION TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS AND CLAIMS WITH THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUND PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission is soliciting bicycle and pedestrian projects for funding under Transportation Development Act Article 3 Bicycle and Pedestrian Fund Program; and WHEREAS, staff is proposing a bicycle project on Stevens Creek Boulevard between Foothill Boulevard and Phar Lap and a feasibility study on De Anza National Historical Trail; and WHEREAS, the City's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee supports these bicycle projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Cupertino hereby approves the bicycle project on Stevens Creek Boulevard between Foothill Boulevard and Phar Lap and a feasibility study on De Anza National Historical Trail and authorizes the submittal of applications and claims for the Transportation Development Act Article 3 Bicycle and Pedestrian Fund Program.
