FIRST READING ORDINANCE NO. 16-2155
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its meeting of
Tuesday, November 1, 2016, the Cupertino City
Council conducted the first reading of Ordi-
nance No. 16-2155: an "Ordinance of the City
Council of the City of Cupertino Amending
Chapters 16.02, 16.04, 16.06, 16.16, 16,24, 16.40,
16.54, 16.58, and 16.80 Repealing Chapter 16.42
of Title 16 of the Cupertino Municipal Code
adopting the 2016 California Building, Residen-
tial, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Energy,
Historical, Fire. Existing Building Code, Green
Building Standards Codes with Certain Excep-
tions, Modifications, and Additions." Ayes:
Paul, Sinks, Vaidhyanathan, Wong. Absent:
Chang. The second reading is scheduled for
Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Council meets at
6:45 p.m., Council Chamber, Cupertino Com-
munity Hall, 10350 Torre Avenue, Cupertino,
California. Complete copies are posted in the
Office of the City Clerk. All interested parties
are invited to attend and be heard. If you wish
to challenge the action of the City Council in
court, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the pub-
lic hearing described in this notice, or in writ-
ten correspondence delivered to the City of
Cupertino City Hall at, or prior to, the public
hearing.
