an emeption to the sign ordinance for signs in an institutional district.
The site is mated on the North side of Alves Drive at the terminus of
Saich ray.
Tft Robillard revia and the staff ems, noting the direction given by
ASAC at the previous mec*_ing.
Jim Walker and Elizabeth Gallegos, from the YMM, review-ed the staff
its and answered questions of the Omnittes Mom.
Camittee Members Lim, lavias and Jackson, felt that the dal was
aorzptalble as presented.
Canuttee Member Weber felt that the Bingo sign should be placed on the
existing monument sign.
Chairperson, Homie expressed concern with previously installed illegal
signs.
It was agreed among the Oommitte MaW3ers that no otter building mounted
signs w4.11 be allowed and that the lights inside the existing monument ent. sign
should :s reduced U, cut down on the apt of glare.
Mr. Walker asked for clarification of buildity mounted signs and der
the existing YNM portion above the front entrance was accepta'xle.
