I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is
adjudged to be a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara and State of California. Said
order has not been revoked.
I declare that the notice, of which the annexed is a printed copy,
has been published in each regular and entire issue of said
newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on the following
dates, to wit:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
2016.17 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cupertino
City Council will conduct a public hearing on
Monday, June 6, 2016 to consider the Capital
Improvement Plan (CIP), including a Negative
Declaration pursuant to the California Environ-
mental Quality Act; and a finding of General
Plan conformance; and the Recommended
Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-17; and the Adopp-
tion of the Recommended Budget; and Estab-
lishment of the Appropriation Limit, and relat-
ed actions. At the meeting of May 10, 2016, the
Planning Commission voted to recommend ap-
proval (5.0) of the CIP Program per resolution
#6807. Council meets at 6:45 p.m. in the Com-
munity Hall Council Chamber, 10350 Torre Ave-
nue, Cupertino, California 95014. Interested
parties are invited to attend and be heard. A
copy of the proposed budget is available be-
ginning May 1 for public review Monday
through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at City
Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, and at the Cupertino
Library, 10800 Torre Avenue during normal
business hours. If you challenge the action of
the City Council in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else
raised at the public hearing described in this
notice, or in written correspondence delivered
to the City of Cupertino at, or prior to, the pub-
lic hearing.
