I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is
adjudged to be a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara and State of California. Said
order has not been revoked.
I declare that the notice, of which the annexed is a printed copy,
has been published in each regular and entire issue of said
newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on the following

SECOND READING ORDINANCE NO.16-2142
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its meeting of
Tuesday, April 5, 2016, the Cupertino City Coun-
cil conducted the second reading of Ordinance
No. 16-2142: "An Ordinance of the City Council
of the City of Cupertino to repeal Chapter 14.15
of the Cupertino Municipal Code entitled
"Landscaping Ordinance" and replace it with a
new Chapter 14.15 entitled "Landscape Ordi-
nance" in order to improve readability and to
comply with state -mandated updates to the
Model Water -Efficient Landscape Ordinance."
Ayes: Chang, Vaidhyanathan, Paul, Sinks,
Wong. Noes: None. This Ordinance was enact-
ed and will go into effect thirty (30) days from
that date. A complete copy is posted in the Of-
fice of the City Clerk. If you wish to challenge
the action of the City Council in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or
someone else raised at the public hearing de-
scribed in this notice, or in written correspond-
ence delivered to the City of Cupertino City
Hall at, or prior to, the public hearing.
