The legislation speciﬁcally targets app-based tampering to maintain safety and motor output standards for e AB 875 Police now have the authority to impound non compliant vehicles (those exceeding 750W or lacking pedals) for at least 48 hours. AB 2595 San Mateo County E-Bike A proposed pilot program that would authorize San Mateo County to prohibit children under 12 from operating any Class 1 or Class 2 e-bike SB 1167 Diﬀerentiating E- Bikes from E- powered electric motorcycles (like Surron or Talaria) under the guise of "e-bikes". Class Restrictions Some middle schools allow Class 1 e- bikes but prohibit Class 2 (throttle) and Class 3 (high-speed) models bikes to include front and rear lights.
