ARTS AND CULTURE COMMISSION Eli ig bility Requirements: The Commission consists of five members appointed by Council for four-year terms. At least three shall be Cupertino residents. None of the members shall -be employees or officials of the City, nor cohabit with as defined by law, nor be related by blood or marriage to any member of the Commission, the City Manager or staff person assigned to the Commission. Powers and Functions: The powers and functions of the Arts and Culture Commission are to foster, encourage and assist the realization, preservation and advancement of arts and culture for the benefit of the citizens of Cupertino. The Arts and Culture Commission falls under the Political Reform Act of 1974 and members are required to submit Statements of Economic Interest upon appointment and annually thereafter. Meeting Schedule: Regular meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every other month (odd months) and more often as necessary at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall, Conference Room C.
