Ordinance No. 09-2051 Rezoning from R1 to PRORDINANCE P10. 09-2051 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CUI'ERTINO CITY COUNCIL REZONING TWO PARCELS OF 0.6 GROSS ACRE LOCATED AT THE EASTERLY SIDE OF STERLING BLVD_ AT THE EASTERLY TE',RMINUS OF BARNHART AVENUE FROM R1-7.5 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO PR (PARK 8r RECREATION) WHEREAS, an application was received by the City (Application no. Z-2009-03) for the rezoning of a property to Park and Recreation, PR; and WHEREAS, the rezoning will be consistent with the C:ity's General Plan land use map, proposed uses and surrounding uses; and WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the rezoning be granted; and WHEREAS, the property is presently zoned R1-7.5; and WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit A, as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit A 8c B is hereby rezoned to Park and Recreation, PR; and that Exhibit A attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino; and Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its passage.
