BACKGROUND On April 3, 2007, the Director of Community Development approved a 2,270 square foot residence at 10150 Calvert Drive. The construction is nearing complete and the project has been recently sold to a new property owner. The previous property owner made exterior changes to the house without City approval. Since the changes were substantial, further design review was needed to ensure that the original public review process is not undermined and that the changes are consistent with the approved architecture. The City's Architect reviewed the changes and recommended the f ollowing: 1. Replace the white garage door with a more decorative garage door in a more subordinate color to the front entry 2. Remove the small scale wood beam extensions at the second floor gables 3. Replace the second story front window with the originally approved window 4. In addition, the project upholds the general architectural integrity associated with the original approval. Adjacent neighbors were notified of the proposed project revisions and no objections were received. erTin~T. The Director approves the modifications as listed above.
