Notice of Public Meeting for the City of Cupertino
Proposed Lease with Verizon Wireless for a cell tower on the Civic Center Property
Grace Schmidt, City Clerk, declares as follows:
• That she is a citizen of the United States, over the age of 18 years, and that at all
times herein mentioned was an employee / agent of the City of Cupertino.
• That on January 6, 2016, she deposited in the United States Post Office,
California, a Notice of Public Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto.
• That said mailing list has been provided by the Planning Department and lists
the owners of property who are entitled to Notice of Hearing.
• That on said day, there was a regular communication by Unites States mail
between Cupertino, California and the addresses shown on the attached mailing
list.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cupertino City Council will hold a hearing on the matter
described below. The public is encouraged to attend and speak.

SUBTECT: Consideration of Proposed Lease with Verizon Wireless for a cell

DESCRIPTION: Antenna Ground Lease between the City of Cupertino and GTE
Mobilnet dba Verizon for a term of up to 5 years, together with
options to renew, for a cell tower to be located on the Civic Center
Property and subject to the terms of any City -issued permits
HEARING DATE: Tuesday, January 19 beginning at 6:45 p.m.
