The intent of this system is to utilize a UPS in line to condition power and as an instantaneous automatic transfer to temporary battery back up in case of a power failure. •The UPS system Apple will utilize is a lead-acid system that falls under the threshold capacity covered by the scope of California Fire Code Section 1207. Apple will use a unit that has 44.736kWh capacity which is below the threshold set forth in Table 1207.1.1 (70kWh).
