PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Public Hearing to consider 1973 Comprehensive General
Plan. First Hearing continued.
NOTE: The above public hearing regarding the General Plan will be discontinued
at 9:00 p.m.
2. Application 9-V-73 of JAMES HERBERT: Variance to reduce the setback
requirement for a single-family lot from twenty (20) feet to five (5)
feet. Said property is in a R1-7.5 (Residential, single-family, 7,500
sq. ft. per dwelling unit) zone and is located 170 feet northerly of
the intersection of Crescent Road and Hillcrest Road. First Hearing
continued.
3. Application 9-U-73 of INTERSIL, INC. - Union Carbide Corporation:
Use Permit to allow the construciton and operation of a nitrogen gas
generating plant on a planned manufacturing plant site. Said property
is in a P (Planned Development with light industrial intent) zone and
is located at 10900 Tantau Avenue. First Hearing.
4. Application 15-U-73 of VALLCO PARK, LTD.: Use Permit to allow the
expansion of the off-street parking lot for Intersil, Inc. Said property
is in a P (Planned Development with light industrial intent) zone and is
located at 10900 Tantau Avenue. First Hearing.
5. Application 7-V-73 of STUART KADAS: Variance to increase the number of
permitted stories for a single-family residential structure from two (2)
stories to three (3) stories. Said property is in a R1-10 (Residential,
single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. per dwelling unit) zone and the address is
11476 Lindy Place. First Hearing.

to allow construction of 82,812 sq. ft. of medical office space. Said
property is in a P (Planned Development) zone and is located at the
northwest corner of the intersection of Torre Avenue and Pacifica Drive.
