RESOLUTION NO. 1965
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING A USE PERMIT TO OPERATE AN 80 SEAT
COCKTAIL LOUNGE IN A 3,000 SQ. FT. SPACE LOCATED
IN A COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT.

LOCATION: Northeast corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Portal Avenue
FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS:
Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and sub -
conclusions as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of
August 13, 1979.
CONDITIONS:
1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the
special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does
exist, the special conditions enumerated herein shall apply.
15. The approval is based upon Exhibit A of Application 15-U-79 which describes
the general location of the 3,000 sq. ft., 80 seat capacity cocktail lounge.
16. Live music or other live entertainment is not approved.
17. Sound from recorded music shall not penetrate beyond the property line
separating the commercial center from adjoining residential area.
18. The applicant shall repair any major pavement deficiencies in the Portal
Plaza Shopping Center parking lot subject to the review and approval of
the Director of Public Works. Said repairs shall be completed to the
staff's satisfaction prior to issuance of building permits.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 1979, at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:
