Mallett (Staff Request) WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS ORAL COMMUNICATIONS NOTE: In order to decrease the length 6f the meeting, no public hearing will be initiated after 12:00 a.m. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Application 13-Z-74 of SAN CARLOS HOMES & DEVELOPMENT CO.: REZONING 20.7 acres from A (Agricultural/Residential -- 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot) to P (Planned Development with residential cluster use intent with approximately 2.4 dwelling units per acre) or whatever zone may be deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission. Said property is located southerly of and adjacent to Voss Avenue at its westerly terminus. First Hearing continued. 2. Application 10-V-74 of HOWARD E. MALLETT: VARIANCE from Section 16.28.010 of the fence ordinance to allow a six-foot hedge across the front property line. Said property is located at 20699 Rodrigues Avenue in a residential, single-family zone. Second Hearing continued. 3. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Public Hearing to consider an amendment of Chapter 16.28 of the Municipal Code pertaining to the height and location of fences and vegetation within the yard setback areas. First Hearing continued. 4. Application 3 -TM -75 of W. J. HERMAN (KESTER PROPERTY): TENTATIVE MAP to subdivide 17.5 acres into sixty-one single-family, residential, cluster units with one lot to be held in common ownership. Said property is located adjacent to and easterly of Stevens Canyon Road approximately 200 ft. southerly of Riverside Drive. First Hearing. 5. Amendment to Use Permit 15-U-68: CUPERTINO HILLS SWIM AND RACQUET CLUB: To modify the site plan and amend the conditions of approval related to hours of operation and outdoor lighting. Said activity involves the renting of small gardun plots to the general public. Said property consists of six acres and is located within the south- east and the southwest quadrants of the intersection of Stevens Creek Blvd. and Portal Ave. First Hearing. 7. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Public Hearing to consider 1973 Comprehensive General Plan. a. Hillsides NOTE: The purpose of the meeting is to set an appropriate date for a study session for the above item. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 8. Applications 1-Z-75 & 1--U-75 of MAY INVESTMENT CO.: REZONING 5.6 acres from R1-10 (Residential, single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. per dwelling unit) to P (Planned Development with residential., single- family, cluster intent); USE PERMIT to allow construction of 40 -unit cluster development. Said property is located approximately 375 feet westerly of the intersection of Forest Street and Vista Drive and adjacent to and southerly of the future extension of Lazaneo Drive between Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road and Vista Drive. (Referred back to Planning Commission by City Council with the recommendation that the developer reevaluate the design.)
