PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Application 13-U-76 of SOBRATO-BERG PROPERTIES: USE PERMIT to allow
construction of approximately 792,000 sq. ft. of industrial/office
building. Said property is located easterly of and adjacent to North
De Anza Blvd. and extending southerly from the intersection of North
De Anza Blvd. and Route 280 for a distance of approximately 2500 ft.
First hearing continued.
2. Application 15-U-76 of SARATOGA FOOTHILLS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION:
USE PERMIT to allow construction of 34 single-family residential homes
in a planned development zone. Said property is located westerly of
and adjacent to Bandley Drive approximately 500 ft. northerly of the
intersection of Bandley Dr. and Alves Dr. First hearing continued.
3. Application 2-V-76 of BARRY J. AND NORMA R. FEELEY: VARIANCE request
from Section 10.4 of Ordinance 220(n) as amended by Ordinance No. 674,
to permit a rear setback of a single -story structure of 9.5 feet in
lieu of the 10 -ft. minimum setback required and rear yard area provid-
ing 725 sq. ft. of rear useable setback area in lieu of 1679 sq. ft.
(22 x lot width) as required by ordinance. Additionally, the applicant
requests a variance from Section 10.2 of Ordinance 220(n) as amended by
Ordinance No. 674, to permit a front yard setback of 15 ft. in lieu of
20 ft. as required by ordinance. Said property is located at the north-
west corner of the intersection of Baxley Ct. and Linda Vista Dr. First
hearing continued.

4. Applications 16-Z-76 and 4-V-76 of THOMAS B. MAYBO: REZONING approxi-
mately .25 acres from R3-2.2 (Residential, multiple, 2,200 sq. ft. per
dwelling unit) to R2-4.25 (Residential, duplex, 4,250 sq. ft. per dwell-
ing unit) or whatever zone may be deemed appropriate by the Planning
Commission; VARIANCE request to reduce the front, side and/or rear
setback areas for a duplex lot. Said property is located southerly of
and adjacent to Rodrigues Avenue adjacent to Cupertino City Hall.

5. Applications 19-Z-76 and 16-U-76 of TERRANOMICS DEVELOPMENT CORP.:
REZONING approximately 9.9 acres from CG (General Commercial) to P
(Planned Development with commercial use intent) or whatever zone may
be deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission; USE PERMIT to allow
construction of 90,000 sq. ft. of commercial space. Said property is
located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Stevens Creek
Blvd. and Portal Ave. First hearing.
6. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Public Hearing to review proposed Tree Ordinance
providing regulations for care and removal of trees on private property,
providing for a system of granting permits for removal of specimen trees,
and providing for protection of all trees during construction operations.
First Hearing continued.
7. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Hearing to consider establishing a new R3 high
density, multiple -family residential zone relating to density, setbacks,
permitted uses and other development standards; and the repealing of
existing R3-2.2 and R3-2.7 multiple -family residential zones. First
hearing continued.
8. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Hearing to consider establishing a new R1 single-
family residential zone relating to density, setbacks, permitted uses
and other development standards; and the repealing of the existing
single-family residential zone, Ordinance No. 220(n). First Hearing.

10. 5-GPC-76 of Midpeninsula Regional Park District: Determination as to
general plan consistency of possible future open space acquisition by
the Midpeninsula Regional Park District - approximately 20 acres located
easterly of and adjacent to Permanente Creek at its intersection with
Freeway Route 280 and westerly of and adjacent to St. Joseph's Seminary.
