The public is encouraged to attend and speak.. APPLICATION NO(S): GPAAuth-2017-02 APPLICANT(S): KT Urban (Mark Tersini) LOCATION: 21267 Stevens Creek Boulevard; APN: 326-27-039, -040 and -041 DESCRIPTION: Revised proposal to demolish an existing-71,254 sq.ft. commercial shopping center and construct a mixed -use development at the Oaks Shopping Center site. The proposal requires City Council authorization before proceeding as a formal General Plan Amendment application.. The revisions are summarized as follows: 1) A reduction in height of the proposed office building from 88 feet to 65 feet; 2) An increase of senior affordable units from 40 to 50 units, and a reduction of senior unrestricted units from 30 to 20 units (additional 5% in the extremely low income category); 3) The elimination of "Alternative 1" (mixed -used residential option). The site plan components have not changed and include a 27,500 sq.ft. movie theater, 42,000 sq.ft. ground floor retail -commercial space, a 4,000 sq.ft. community center, transit center, three levels of underground parking, and below -market rate housing units.
