The Assistant City Attorney stated that the City Attorney has.
indicated that we cannot obligate the City in the future by making
a down payment of a certain amount of money for the entire propert
and then make payments. This is a 4 —year purchase agreement.
The property will.be•purchased in 4 segments.
Mr. Anthony Musolino, 12985 Tenoak Way, Saratoga, confirmed that
he has been negotiating with the City Attorney on this matter.
Comm. Nellis questioned whether it was really necessary to divide
this property into four segments at this time. She would prefer
to divide only that portion currently being purchased by the City.
Then one year from now, the City could divide again that portion
it was prepared to purchase. Discussion followed.
