In December 2007, the City of Cupertino City Council approved a two-year funding cycle for CDBG public service grants and HSG public service grants. The amount awarded in the 2014-15 fiscal year for CDBG public service grants and HSG public service grants will be recom- mended for allocation for the 2015-16 fiscal year with adjustments made for any increase or decrease in funding. There will not be an a pp- Flication for CDBG pub- c service grants and HSG public service grants in the 2015-16 fiscal year due to a two year funding cycle. The CDBG housing develop- ment and capital im- provements project funding will remain on a single fiscal year funding cycle. The City of Cupertino anticipates receiving approximately $330,000 in CDBG entitlement funds from the U.S. De- partment of Housing and Urban Develop- ment (HUD) for fiscal year 2014-15. The City also intends to allocate unused CDBG funds from prior fiscal years for fiscal year 2014-15. The City of Cupertino anticipates allocating approximately $40,000 in General Fund Human Service Grants (HSG) program funds for fis- cal year 2014-15. These funds will be allocated on a competitive basis to be used by non-profit agencies to provide public services to Cupertino residents. The above dollar amounts may change based upon actual final funding allocation ap- proved by City Council.
