At the event, donations will be presented to the CLC and will go toward furnishings and equipment in the new Cupertino Library. Donors include Hewlett-Packard, $25,000; Menlo Equities, $25,000. Personal contributions will also be presented by Dave Greenstein, $25,000; Cynthia Lee, $10,000, representing herself and her deceased husband, Hai-Chow Lee; and Michelle Lee, $10,000, representing herself and her siblings, Millard, Mitchell, and Nicol. “Our award-winning library is the single most valuable educational resource in our community,” said Nicol Lea, CLC Project Coordinator. “Donors are providing a direct benefit to the people of our community for years to come.” What: The City of Cupertino is building a 54,000 square-foot state-of-the-art library that will open October 30, 2004. In order to get the very best facility and programs for the Cupertino Library, the busiest branch in the County library system, the CLC has been gathering donations to A grand opening event for the Cupertino Library will be held on October 30, 2004.
