RESOLUTION NO. 768
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING AND
LIGHTING FOR A FREE-STANDING RESTAURANT AND FLOWER
SALES KIOSK.

LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Cupertino Center, Stevens Creek Boulevard & Portal Avenue
FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. That the subject structures are compatible in materials, design concept
and scale with the previously approved shopping center on the subject
property.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, B -1, B-2, and
C of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained
herein.
10. Consistent with trip end accounts approved under Application 16-U-76, building
permits for the flower shop kiosk approved under this application may not be
issued until the applicant has presented satisfactory documentation that
sufficient trip end credit remains to the development to complete the shop
building on the west end of the Longs Drug Store structure as per the above
noted use permit approval.
11. The proposed flag pole depicted on Exhibit B-2 of this Application shall be
eliminated from the flower sales kiosk.
12. Purlins on the proposed flower kiosk building shall extend beyond the edge of
the roof line in a manner similar to that proposed on the Gazebo portion of the
approved Houlihan building, subject to staff approval.
