HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 762HC -51,403.2 RESOLUTION NO. 762 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF MODIFICATION OF SITE AND GRADING AND A SIGN PROGRAM FOR A COMMERCIAL SKI EQUIPMENT RETAIL STORE. PROPERTY OWNER: Any Mountain, Ltd. (Eldon R. Hoffman) APPLICANT: Any Mountain, Ltd. (Eldon R. Hoffman) ADDRESS: 10495 North De Anza Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of the intersection of De Anza Boulevard and Mariani Avenue. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with respect to this application: 1. That the proposed site and grading modifications for the proposed decorative water course on the De Anza Boulevard frontage of the project is consistent with the approved landscaping plan for the development and is technically suitable to the drainage characteristics of this site. 2. That the proposed freestanding sign approved as the sign program for this development maintains the unique identification and individual character of the Any Mountain business, as provided in Section 1.03.2 (5) , Ordinance 746. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. That the recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F 1st Revision and D 1st Revision of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee or its staff shall retain authority to review lighting intensity of any sign approved under this application consistent with Section 7.07 of Ordinance 746. 11. Prior to issuance of permits for installation of the approved ground sign structure, staff shall review the proposed landscaping improvements on the De Anza Boulevard frontage of the site for substantial conformance to those delineated on Exhibit C 1st Revision of Application HC -51,403.2. It is the Committee's intent that the modified water course depicted on Exhibit D 1st Revision of this application not result in decreased quantity of plantings on the De Anza Boulevard Parkway frontage. 12. As provided in Section 6.03.7 of Ordinance 746, street address numbers for the subject business shall be prominently displayed on the site subject to staff approval. -1- HC -51,403.2 RESOLUTION NO. 762 (continued) 13.
