RESOLUTION NO. 735
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING AND
LIGHTING FOR EXTENSION OF AN EXISTING INDUSTRIAL
BUILDING.

The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. Implementation of conditions of approval contained in this
Resolution No. 735 and in the July 18, 1977 Acoustical
Consultant's Report will adequately protect the public from
visual privacy intrusion and project related sounds.
2. That the architectural design concept, materials, and grade
relationships are intended to harmonize with the existing
industrial building on the subject site.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the
event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein
shall apply.
9. The recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A, B, B -1, C and D
of this application except as may be amended by special conditions
contained herein.
10. Parking stall dimensions shown on Exhibit A shall be revised per City
of Cupertino Standard Details.
11. The "Flowering Cherry tree" proposed for installation on the west side
of the development shall be changed in favor of a more effective screening
material; the Flowering Cherry may be used as accent at the discretion
of the architect.
12. The proposed Liquidambar tree along the west property line shall be
deleted in favor of an evergreen specie.
13. Final height of the proposed masonry wall at the west boundary of the
property depicted on Exhibit A shall be 8 ft. The wall shall be of a pre-
cast concrete type with slumpstone finish on the west(residential) side.
The top of the wall shall include a "cap" course. Specific design of the
structure shall be submitted to staff for final approval at the building
permit level. The wall shall be constructed as per recommendation on
Page 6 of the July 18, 1977 Acoustical Analysis submitted by Edward L.
Pack Associates.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of July, 1977, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
