RESOLUTION NO. 731 (Minute Order)
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
REQUESTING THE CITY COUNCIL'S DIRECTION TO THE
CITY STAFF TO DEVELOP AN APPROACH TO STREET
LIGHTING STANDARDS IN THE HILLSIDE PLANNING
AREA OF CUPERTINO.
It is the opinion of the Architectural and Site Approval
Committee that lighting fixtures in the hillside area
should reflect the uniqueness of the area, and should
require a different design approach than that widely -
used within the valley floor.
This request is in support of citizen and developer
input received during review of the recent San Carlos
Homes Application HC -51,423.1 and also in response to
an original recommendation of the Cupertino Citizen's
Goals Committee.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1977, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Committee Members: Irvine, Ripplinger, Sallan, Chairman Claudy
NAYS: " None
ABSTAINING: " None
