HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 715HC -51,374.2 RESOLUTION NO. 715 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONCEPTUAL APPROVAL OF LANDSCAPING FOR REMODELING OF AN EXISTING RESTAURANT. PROPERTY OWNER: William I. Clark APPLICANT: Self Sery Food Corporation (Burger Pit) ADDRESS: 496 Salmar Avenue, Campbell, California 95008 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Blaney Avenue ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with respect to this application: 1. That removal of roof mounted mechanical equipment to a position on the ground will enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the restaurant building and the intersection of Blaney Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard. 2. In accordance with City Council Resolution No. 4407, conceptual landscaping approval is granted at this time with precise landscaping details to be reviewed at a future public hearing. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibit B and staff Informational Exhibit except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. Conditions of approval Nos. 8, 9, 10, and 11, contained in Architectural and Site Approval Committee Resolution No. 589 adopted January 22, 1976 shall be binding upon the applicant under this recommendation of approval. 11. Screening devices for roof mounted mechanical equipment shall be constructed in the manner suggested on the staff informational exhibit, or in an alternative design which minimizes public view of said equipment and still permits safe and efficient operation thereof. 12. The equipment area on Exhibit B at the south end of the restaurant shall be fully enclosed in a manner subject to staff approval. 13. Precise landscaping design approach is continued to a future public hearing. 14.
