RESOLUTION NO. 714
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
A TENANT SIGN AND COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM FOR
AN EXISTING COM11ERCIAL RETAIL DEVELOPMENT.

Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
ration:
1. With respect to the comprehensive sign program for the "Shoe Fair"
shopping center, the Committee finds it desirable to relate the earth -
tone colors of the building to the background color of tenant signs.
For this reason, the sign program shall be subject to Architectural
and Site Approval Committee review in 1982 with the intent of
addressing the merit of said sign program with respect to building
color versus sign background color. At that time, the Committee
may institute a change of sign background color from white to ivory.
2. With respect to the requested print shop tenant sign, the design is
consistent with the intent and provisions of the comprehensive sign
program adopted under this application.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits F and F-2 except
as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
10. That the sign can and trim of the tenant sign proposed on Exhibit F of this
application shall be brown per provisions of the shopping center sign program.
11. Lighting intensity for signing approved under this application shall be subject
to review of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1977, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
