RESOLUTION NO. 712
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING AND LIGHTING
FOR A FREESTANDING RESTAURANT WITHIN PHASE TWO OF
VALLCO FASHION PARK.

ADDRESS: P.O. Drawer V, Cupertino, California 95014
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Vallco Fashion Park in the loop east of Wolfe Road
south of the tunnel

The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. That the applicants have successfully executed a culturally thematic
design which will successfully contrast with the more modern lines
of the adjacent shopping mall complex.
2. That the landscaping solution adequately screens public view of parked
vehicles on the restaurant site.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A, B, B-1, C 1st
Revision and C-1 except as may be amended by special conditions contained
herein.
10. The sign portion of this application is not approved and is continued to
a future public hearing.
11. Additional plantings shall be placed along the south and west walls of the
restaurant to soften the apparent vertical dimension of the building elevations.
Plantings on the south side elevations shall attain a low growth habit
consistent with traffic sight distance safety requirements. Climbing type
vines shall be planted adjacent to the fireplace on the west elevation of
the structure. Additionally, the screening plants on Wolfe Road shall be
such as to obscure public view of the restaurant service area.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1977, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
