RESOLUTION NO. 708
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING, AND
LIGHTING FOR A FREESTANDING RESTAURANT WITHIN
PHASE ONE OF VALLCO FASHION PARK.

Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
ation:
1. That the proposed location of the subject restaurant is consistent with
the conceptual location approved under Application 6-U-73 for the
Regional Shopping Center.
SUBCONCLUSION:
(a) The Committee notes that it is the applicant's intent to abandon
the concept of an elevated pedestrian causeway between the mall
and subject restaurant site as that structure is shown on
Exhibit A 1st Revision of Application 6-U-73.
2. The landscaping plan as presented will adequately accomplish the task
of screening the public view of parked vehicles on the site and the
restaurant service area.
SUBCONCLUSION
(a) The Committee recommends substitution of Ligustrum Texanum in place
of Oleander adjacent to the outdoor eating area for safety purposes.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibit A, B, B-1, C, D, D -1,
and E except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
10. Signing for the proposed restaurant structure is not a part of approvals granted
under this Resolution No. 708.
11. The wood siding material on the east elevation of the structure as shown on
Exhibit B shall be finished in a shade of brown identical to that approved
for the roof parapet.
12. Ligustrum Texanum shall be substituted in place of Oleanders where they are
shown on Exhibit C. Further, the applicant shall consider augmenting the
number of plantings along the north property line of the restaurant site for
the purpose of achieving additional screening value.

13. Intensity of exterior on -site lighting shall be subject to review by the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee or its staff.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1977, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
