RESOLUTION NO. 702
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR AN ADDITION
TO AN EXISTING CHURCH SCHOOL CLASSROOM STRUCTURE.

The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. That the architectural concept of the structure is substantially
compatible with the existing architectural theme of other structures
on the church property and with architectural themes established on
surrounding land uses.
SUBCONCLUSIONS:
(a) The roof line of the proposed classroom is intended to match the
existing church sanctuary building.
(b) That the subject structure is substantially removed from public
view due to its relative distance from adjacent rights of way.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall
apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A, B and D except
as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
10. A revised landscaping plan shall be submitted for staff approval at the
building permit level. It is the Committee`s intent that the revised
landscaping plan shall reflect investigation of the feasibility of
adding additional trees along the west elevation of the proposed building
addition, the possibility of grouping trees in that location, and the
possibility of utilizing an alternative specie to the Sequoia Semperviren
suggested on Exhibit D.

Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
