RESOLUTION NO. 700
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR REMODELING
OF AN EXISTING COMMERCIAL BUILDING TO A SIT-DOWN
RESTAURANT.

The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. That the applicants' intent is to operate a sit-down restaurant
on this site consistent with Section 94.1 of Ordinance No. 220(j).
2. That the architectural concept of the proposed remodeling including
colors and materials will complement the adjacent Lost Mine Restaurant,
and will be substantially compatible with structures on adjacent
properties.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall
apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A, B and C except
as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
10. Should the City Council of Cupertino, the City Planning Commission, or its
staff determine that on -site parking for the subject facility is inadequate,
the applicants shall in good faith enter into negotiations with surrounding
property owners to obtain off -site parking for restaurant employees.
11. The applicant shall provide to staff at the building permit level a plan for
screening the shared trash enclosure adjacent to the tenant at the north end
of the building.
12. Junipers shall be planted in the outer bed of the planter area at the south-
west corner of the site, African Daisies shall be planted in the inner
planter area adjacent to said southwest property corner. Automatic sprinkler
system installation shall not be required for this development.
