RESOLUTION NO. 690
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
A ROOF MOUNTED, EXTERNALLY -ILLUMINATED INDIVIDUAL
LETTER SIGN FOR A FREESTANDING FINANCIAL BUILDING.

The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with
respect to this application:
1. That the dimensional qualities of this sign as shown on Exhibit
F 2nd Revision and as modified by special conditions in this
Resolution No. 690 are within the constraints prescribed in
Section 6.03.2 of the draft Sign Ordinance, and Section 7.021
of Ordinance No. 353.
2. That the proposed gold copy color as shown on Exhibit F 2nd Revision
is consistent with copy color for wall signs in use at the Pavilion
Center of which the subject business is a part.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that
they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein.
In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated
herein shall apply.
8. That this approval is based on Exhibit F 2nd Revision except as modified
by special conditions contained in this Resolution No. 690.
9. The applicants may redesign the sign from the concept shown on Exhibit
F 2nd Revision to include the words "& Company" provided that the
modified sign not be closer than 2 ft. from either edge of the fascia
to which it is attached.
10. Lighting fixtures shown on Exhibit F 2nd Revision shall be painted to
resemble as closely as possible the existing roof color of the building.
11. Final selection of color for the sign shall be subject to staff approval
at the building permit level.

meeting of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of
Cupertino, State of California, by the following roll call vote:
