HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 685HC -51,299.5 RESOLUTION NO. 685 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PARTIALLY ENCLOSED CARPORT AT AN EXISTING OFFICE CENTER COMPLEX AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT B. PROPERTY OWNER: Myron Zimmerman APPLICANT: Myron Zimmerman (Stevens Creek Office Center) ADDRESS: 20823 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: North Side of Stevens Creek Boulevard, East of Saich Way ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Architectural and Site Approval Committee makes the following findings with regard to the subject application: 1. That the architectural style of the proposed carport addition, and materials to be used in construction thereof are in harmony with those used throughout the office center complex. SUB CONCLUSION: (a) The architectural style and materials of the Stevens Creek Office Center are established under Resolution No. 270 of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee. 2. That the public interest is served by the addition of shrubbery to the planter area at the east end of the proposed carport facility. SUBCONCLUSION: (a) The addition of said shrubbery will reduce visibility perception of the carport wall from the adjacent public street. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions. 8. Shrubbery or vines which, after a three year growth period, will achieve a minimum height one-half that of the east wall of the proposed carport shall be added to the planter area adjacent to said east wall.
