AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
N0. 2 BY RECLASSIFYING A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
FROM AN A-2:B-~ DISTRICT TO A C-1-H DISTRICT,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on July 18, 1958 , an application was filed by George
Yamaoka for the rezoning of property from an A-2:B-4 District to a
C-1-H District; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after two public hearings the
Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the reclass-
ification be granted; and
WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in an A-2:B-4
District; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the
City of Cupertino;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the following described property, be and hereby
is zoned to C-1-H classification and that Exhibit "A"
attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of
Cupertino:
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino,
County of Santa Clara, State of California,described as follows:
Beginning at a spike set at the intersection of the monument
line of Stevens Creek Road and the monument line of Portal Avenue,
said spike bears North 89° 36' East lOl+g,l6 feet from a granite
monument at the center line of Blaney Avenue and the monument line
of Stevens Creek Road; thence along the monument line of Stevens
Creek Road North 8g° 36' East 653 .0 feet to the southeast corner
of that certain parcel of land conveyed to George Yamaoka, et al, by
deed recorded in Book 3281, Official Records, page 111-7, Santa Clara
County Records; thence along the easterly line of said parcel con-
veyed to Yamaoka, et al, North 0° 1+3 f West ~-09.06 feet; thence
South 8g° 17' West 653.39 feet to the monument line of Portal Avenue;
thence South Oo 1+3' East X05.45 feet to the point of beginning.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days after its passage, and before the
expiration of fifteen (15) days from and after its passage, this
Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members
voting for or against the same in the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper
published in said County of Santa Clara.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino on the 2nd day of September, 1958. Passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cupertino
on the 15th day of September, 1958, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Lazaneo, Meyerholz, Nathanson, Pelosi,
Saich
