RESOLUTION NO. 787
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING AND LIGHTING
FOR THE CITY'S SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect
to this application:
1. That the proposed design concept has addressed the special needs
of senior citizen through adequate protection of outdoor facilities,
and minimization of architectural barriers to mobility.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the
event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein
shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, B-1, B-2,
C and E of this application except as may be amended by special conditions
contained herein.
10. Window details shall be modified per Section II B 4 of the project staff
report of March 8, 1978. Final selection and placement of lighting fixtures
shall preclude off -site intrusion impacts and shall be resolved by staff
prior to issuance of building permits. The location and design of a trash
container enclosure shall be subject to staff review prior to release of
building permits.
11. Shrubs shall be provided adjacent to the Mary Avenue frontage of the
Senior Center parking lot, the specie and location to be approved by staff
at the building permit level.
12. The streetside face of the wall structure adjoining the Stevens Creek
Boulevard and Mary Avenue frontages of the development shall be of exposed
aggregate; the inside of the wall may be constructed of concrete block.
13. Additional handicapped stalls shall be provided in the Senior Citizen
Center parking area subject to staff review and approval.
